Carer Allowance (CA) rejection DOC

The DOC should contain all information relevant to the rejection of the claim. For private home not shared by carer and care receiver qualification, document the reason for rejection if it is:

  • Carer living separately - less than 20 hours personal care provided
  • Carer living separately - paid carer providing care
  • Carer living separately - co-residing carer providing care (such as the person who is living with the carer is providing care)
