How is the quantity of brentuximab keyed in OPA?

The quantity must be keyed as the dose required in milligrams. See Recording Dose and Dose Frequency in Online PBS Authorities System.

Does the prescriber require a new approval if a dose change is needed?

Any:

  • dose change that is more than 10% (both increase or decrease) requires a new approval
  • replacement for a change of dose should be keyed under the same item/restriction code as the previous approval, and
  • rejection should be overridden with a comment 'dose change'
