Please accept our sympathy on the recent loss of <customer's name>. We realise that this is not a good time to discuss payments but it is important that we advise you of the outcome of <customer's name> claim for Age Pension

Online task inviting customers to claim the CSHC

An online task will appear on a customer's Centrelink online account homepage inviting them to claim a Commonwealth Seniors Health Card (CSHC) if their Age Pension claim has been rejected due to any of the following reasons:

  • INC - Excess income
  • ASS - Assets over limit
  • CMP - Precluded due to Compensation direct deductions or
  • COM - Compensation preclusion period

The online task will not appear for those customers who:

  • are not yet Pension age
  • already have a CSHC
  • have submitted a claim for CSHC
  • have had a CSHC claim rejected in the previous 13 weeks
