Services available to a nominee via principal's record

To access a Centrelink online account for their principal(s), nominees require their own active self service registration.

    • to an account that the principal maintains either alone or jointly, and
    • when the principal does not have a payment nominee

Self managed - Customer as principal

From Centrelink online account homepage, select MENU > My details > Nominee arrangements > Manage nominee arrangements. Submit the request to appoint an individual nominee.

A proposed nominee must have a Centrelink online account linked to myGov.

Nominee gets a task on their Centrelink online account homepage to accept/decline the nominee request sent by the principal. If the nominee accepts, the online nominee access will activate.
