Note: the customer may not be able to advise the status of their training contract. Encourage customers who advise they are engaged in a full time Australian Apprenticeship to test their eligibility for payment. Services Australia will confirm the Australian Apprenticeship details with the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) if the customer makes a claim.

Or if a claim has already been lodged, continue to process the claim. Note: Austudy is not payable for any period for which the Australian Apprentice has been paid the Living Away From Home Allowance (LAFHA). Procedure ends here. | |
