Process daily resolution in Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) 011-10100080



This page contains details on how AIR Service Officers process a daily resolution, from the initial steps through to deciding what action to take to finalise and how to process encounters pended during the daily resolution process.

From the main menu:

  • Select AIR service Officer Portal
  • Select Daily Resolution selection list tab

Access daily resolution list + Read more ...

Processing from a spreadsheet?

  • Yes, enter the SIN in the search bar filter table
  • No, select from the list provided on the page

Review records + Read more ...

Review records to determine they are for the same person.

  • Select SIN to assess
  • Possible matches present:
    • Identify the correct record and Select
    • Select the Review selected match tab (this box highlights when ticked)
    • Both records present
    • Compare immunisation history by clicking on the action drop down box
    • To view the records in more detail click on the eye icon

Match options are either:

  • Merge now, provides the warning and then merges the 2 records, or
  • Pair is not a match, gives the ability to either:
    • keep as a possible match (useful if further record investigation is required), or
    • to remove the possible match from the resolution queue

Note: if the customer has a current restriction, see Merge or match individual records and SIN records in Australian Immunisation Register (AIR).

Log on to AIR Mainframe and:

  • key ‘YCUI
  • press [Enter]

The YCUI – Registration Amendment Search screen is displayed.

Enter personal details + Read more ...

  • key the individual’s:
    • Medicare number or surname
    • given name
    • date of birth
    • post code or post code range
  • press [Enter]

The YCUA – Amendment Registration screen is displayed.

Check vaccination history + Read more ...

To check the vaccination history:

  • Press [PF14] – VACC HIST]

The YIRD - Episode history-basic screen is displayed.

Action pended encounter + Read more ...

Select (/) the pended encounter and press either:

  • [PF5] - Encounter to amend the date of service
  • [PF6] – Antigen to amend/action the antigen or dose details

Merge individuals in AIR Service Officer Portal

Table 3: this table describes how AIR Service Officers match a Supplementary Identification Number (SIN) record to another record where a duplicate record is found for the same individual and there is no Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI).

  • select AIR Service Officer Portal
  • select Merge Individual (Search) tab

Enter personal details + Read more ...

  • In the Identifiers field, enter the customer's identifier:
    • PIN/SIN ,or
    • SIN/SIN
  • Select Review

Note: after entering the first customer identifier, select [Enter] to add the second customer identifier to the line below. An error message will display if customer identifiers are not on individual lines.

Review records + Read more ...

Review records to determine the records are for the same person.

If the:

Merge records + Read more ...

To proceed with merge:

  • select Merge Now

Warning Message + Read more ...

A warning message displays confirming the merge of the records. If:

  • Merge now is selected, a successful message will display with surviving SIN or PIN
  • Don’t merge is selected, go to step 3
