Customer advises of an increase in family income estimate

Update income estimate.

No action required for ACCS specifically as cancellation will automatically occur.

Customer ceases ACCS (transition to work) recognised participation type

Service Officers are to:

  • update the CCS recognised participation type with the end date as advised by the customer
  • forward an ACTDOC to the ACCS Processing Team to reassess ACCS (transition to work) entitlement
  • update the recognised participation details for CCS if the total hours of recognised participation changes from more/less than 48 hours per fortnight

Customer contacts to advise they are no longer participating in the recognised participation type for which they are receiving ACCS (transition to work), but are now undertaking a different recognised participation type

Service Officers are to:

  • advise the customer they are required to lodge a new application for ACCS (transition to work) via their Online Services for the new recognised participation type they are undertaking
  • update the CCS recognised participation details applying an end date to their current recognised participation type and adding new participation type
  • update the recognised participation details for CCS if the total hours of recognised participation changes from more/less than 48 hours per fortnight
  • forward an ACTDOC to the ACCS Processing Team to reassess ACCS (transition to work) entitlement

Customer contacts advising they have a change in their study load from part time to full time, or vice versa

Service Officers are to:

  • advise the customer to provide evidence of the change in their study load. They can do this using the Upload document service
  • update the customer’s recognised participation details with the new hours of study or training per fortnight, if this has changed due to their change in study load
  • update the recognised participation details for CCS if the total hours of recognised participation changes from more/less than 48 hours per fortnight
  • forward an ACTDOC to the ACCS Processing Team to reassess ACCS (transition to work) entitlement

Customer contacts advising they are reducing their study load to less than 25%

Service Officers are to:

  • update the customer’s CCS recognised participation details with the new hours of study or training per fortnight, if this has changed due to their change in study load
  • update the recognised participation details CCS if the total hours of recognised participation changes from more/less than 48 hours per fortnight
  • forward an ACTDOC to the ACCS Processing Team to reassess ACCS (transition to work) entitlement

Customer contacts requesting an extension to ACCS (transition to work) recognised participation type before recognised participation type end date

Service Officers are to:

  • advise the customer they will need to provide evidence to support the extension to their study. They can do this by using the Upload documents service
  • update the customer’s CCS recognised participation details with the new recognised participation type end date
  • update the recognised participation details for CCS if the total hours of recognised participation changes from more/less than 48 hours per fortnight
  • forward an ACTDOC to the ACCS Processing Team to reassess ACCS (transition to work) entitlement

Customer contacts requesting an extension to ACCS (transition to work) recognised participation type after recognised participation type end date

Advise customer they are required to lodge a new application for ACCS (transition to work) via their Online Services, noting there are no backdating provisions for this subsidy.

Remind customers they will need to provide evidence of the continuation of the study for their application to be assessed.
