Common errors preventing automatic restoration
The following are common errors (not all) that may prevent automatic restoration of a job seeker's payment when it is suspended with a reason code TWA. When this occurs an NSS/REA activity will be present on the Activity List (AL) screen with a keyword of TT902.
Once the error has been identified and resolved the NSS/REA activity can be finalised, SUS/TWA removed and payment restored.

Action Required |
E534NM - Parent TFN or exemption must be present |
This is a valid error and occurs due to a missing or invalid TFN on the nominated parent(s) record. The PIT parent needs to provide their tax file number. You must add the parent(s) TFN or a TFN valid exemption on the parent(s) record. |
01NM - No current address on this record |
This is a valid error and occurs when there is no current address on the record. A new address must be entered, or the end date for the previous address deleted. |
E530NM - PIT Review Date in the past. Update NHI screen |
This is a valid error and is occurring as the record that you are processing has estimated parental income data on the NHI screen with an Estimate review date that is now in the past. If the parental income data has since been confirmed key in the estimate field and delete the date in the estimate review date field. Check FIPY from the Manage parental Income table by selecting the parent's CRNs within the table and also check if it has been supplied on sibling records. If the confirmed parental income data is not available but you still want to proceed with this activity then you are required to key an estimate review date that is in the future, however the future date cannot be beyond 01/09/XX in the year following the base tax year i.e. 2024/2025 base tax year cannot have a review date beyond 01/09/26. See Applying the Parental Income Test (PIT) for ABSTUDY and Youth Allowance (YA). |
