Pension Bonus Bereavement Payment (PBBP)

This is a tax free lump sum payment for the surviving partner of a Pension Bonus Scheme (PBS) member who died before successfully claiming Age Pension or Pension Bonus.

Lodging a claim

Lodging a claim for the PBBP involves 3 steps:

• Complete the form
• Collect all the documents needed
• Lodge the claim with support documents as required, for example identity confirmation, relevant modules, death certificate
