This document outlines information to be considered when customers make changes to their name, sex and/or gender and request adjustments be made to their Centrelink record to reflect these changes.

Recording accurate name variations and aliases on a customer’s record helps reduce fraud. Numerous name changes may indicate intention to defraud. Report suspected fraud where suspected.
