Age Requirements for Pensioner Education Supplement (PES) 010-05060010



This document outlines the age qualification for Pensioner Education Supplement (PES).

PES age requirements

To be eligible for PES, a student must be of PES age, which means:

  • at least 16 years of age, or
  • reached the minimum school leaving age under the law of their state or territory, and
  • be regarded as independent under section 1061PL of the Social Security Act 1991

There is no maximum age limit for PES.
