Historical Commonwealth Seniors Health Card (CSHC) annual bulk reissue
The final annual bulk reissue of CSHC was completed in September 2023, issuing all customers with a card due to expire on 30 September 2023 with a new card.
From 3 June 2023 the CSHC transitioned from a 1 year to a 2 year validity.
The expiry date of all new CSHC changed from 30 September, to aligning with the customer’s birth month. New card had a validity of 15 to 26 months, with the card expiring on the last day of customer’s birth month.
