Shared Care - Partner check examples
Table 1
Example | Description |
1 | Peggy is partnered to Bart. Peggy lodges a Child Care Subsidy claim for child Josh. Josh is coded as in Peggy's Care on the CHC screen, however a care percentage has not been recorded for Peggy or Peggy's partner Bart on the FSC screen. A blank or null percentage is treated as 100% by the system. This means that Child Care Subsidy is granted because Peggy has Josh coded In Customer Care. |
2 | Martin lodges a Child Care Subsidy claim for child Harry. Harry is coded as In Customer Care on the CHC screen for Martin and partner, Sally. A care percentage of 0% has been recorded on the FSC screen for Martin and no care percentage (blank) has been recoded for Sally. Child Care Subsidy will grant because Sally has In Customer Care recorded and no percentage (Blank coding is treated as 100%). |
3 | Marley lodges a Child Care Subsidy claim for Mark's (Marley's current partner) child Kelly. Kelly is coded as In Customer Care on the CHC screen. Mark does not have Kelly coded as In Customer Care on the CHC screen. Marley has less than 14% coded on the FSC screen. No care percentage (blank) has been coded for Mark. Child Care Subsidy will be rejected as Marley has under 14% care recorded. |
Non-digital claim form
FA084 Notes and Claim for Child Care Subsidy includes the option to apply for Additional Child Care Subsidy (grandparent)
