Question: if the university representative’s certification date is in the middle of or after all date of sessions, is this acceptable? Answer: No, the claim must be returned to the practice. The practice can provide university correspondence which confirms the sessions were arranged prior to the first teaching session. |

Question: if a practice submits an old version of the teaching claim is this acceptable? Answer: Previous versions of the IP006 are acceptable if the version was acceptable at the date the university certified the form. |

Question: can the agency process a claim if the university is not listed in PIP online? Answer: Escalate to LPS for assessment. The university must be registered as an eligible university. Program Management (Policy team) will review the university eligibility and refer the request to the Department of Health and Aged Care. Sessions can usually be processed once the university has been added to the list of eligible universities. Claims for students at unregistered universities must be pended in PaNDA until confirmation of university eligibility has been received. |

Note: universities do not always include the student ID number in their correspondence with the practice. The student ID number is not mandatory if the full name has been provided and the student details can be clearly matched to the claim form. |
