Managed investments

Managed investments may include:

  • Life office and friendly society insurance bonds
  • Public unit trusts such as cash management, mortgage, shares (equity) and bond trusts
  • Unlisted property trusts
  • Superannuation and rollover investments of customers who are Age Pension age, such as investments in approved deposit funds, deferred annuities and superannuation funds
  • Margin loan (which is a loan that uses shares and managed investments as security for borrowing)
  • Timeshare investments from December 2015

Note: from 6 March 2010, all listed property trusts on an Australian stock exchange must be updated in the shares and securities.
