This document outlines the process for Child Support to notify Centrelink when a mutual customer dies and how to complete Liable Parent Deceased (LPD) coding in Customer First.

Bereavement Service Offer: Notification of death to Centrelink and LPD coding Customer First

The Bereavement Service offer enables Child Support to share information with Centrelink regarding the death of a mutual customer.

When notified of a death of a mutual customer, the information is shared with Centrelink when:

  • child support are notified first, and
  • is not already recorded or actioned in Customer First
