Using the Archiving and Culling Engine (ACE) to access archived Pension System (PEN) data 111-02010140
This document outlines the process of accessing archived Pension System (PEN) data using the Archiving and Culling Engine (ACE) application.
General rules
The general rules for archiving PEN records are:
- The record must have been cancelled for 3 or more years
- The record must not have a recent or unfinalised Debt, Appeal, Prosecution or Compensation activity
Service reasons to be archived
The PEN service reasons to be archived are:
- Retirement:
- Age Pension (AGE)
- Bereavement Allowance (BVA)
- Wife Pension Age (WFA)
- Mature Age Allowance (MAA)
- Mature Age Partner Allowance (MPA)
- Non Pension Spouse (NPS)
- Pension Deferred Bonus Scheme (PDB)
- Widow’s Allowance (WID)
- Carers:
- Crisis Payment (CrP)
- Customer Archive Retrieval (CAR)
- Disability:
- Disability Support Pension (DSP)
- Disability Wage Supplement (DWS)
- Rehabilitation Course Details (RHB)
- Wife Pension Disability (WFD)
- Wife Pension Rehabilitation Allowance (WFR)
- Wife Pension (WFW)
- International:
- NZR
- Parenting:
- Parenting Payment Single (PPS)
- Sole Parent Pension (SPP)
- Financial Information Service:
- Financial Information Services (FIS)
Not all data for a 3 year old cancelled record is archived. Assessment data, Summary files and Work files are archived. Most Circumstance data and all Person data is not archived, and is retained in the system for use by other Common Platform Systems.
