Common code mistakes and their effect

Table 1: This table describes common problems that can come up when fax codes are used incorrectly.

Spelling error in codes:

@@recepientcompany="Example Pty Ltd"

The misspelled code appears in the body of the fax.

Using a code without including text after the equals sign (=)

@@senderlastname=

The code appears in the body of the fax.

Using spaces in codes without including quote marks, or without using a plain text email format

@@recipientcompany=Example Pty Ltd

@@senderlastname=Services Australia

The first word of the code appears in the right place. Any subsequent words in the code appear in the body of the message.

Omitting the recipient name but including the company name:

@@recipientcompany="Example Pty Ltd"

There will be a gap between the To header and the name of the company.
