Allowable time
Legislation for allowable time for YA can be found in the Youth Allowance (Satisfactory Study Progress Guidelines) Determination 2014 Part 2 - Guidelines, in particular sections 2.1 to 2.6, refers to satisfactory progress. - section 1.6, Exceptional circumstances beyond person's control
- section 2.1, Long courses (especially point (2) regarding circumstances beyond the student's control)
- section 2.2, Short courses (especially point (2) regarding circumstances beyond the student's control)
- section 2.5, Combined course option (especially point (2) about circumstances beyond the student's control)
- section 2.7, Study following failure of a previous course
- section 2.8, Study following withdrawal from a previous course
