Coen successfully completed Year 13 in a Tasmanian Government School at the end of Semester 2, 2022. |
4 |
Student completed Year 12 John commenced study in Semester 1, following completion of Year 12, with a 0.125 Equivalent Full-time Student Load (EFTSL) study load. John relocates in Semester 2 of their first year of tertiary study to commence full-time study load of 0.500 Equivalent Full-time Student Load (EFTSL). John's study load is 0.625 Equivalent Full-time Student Load (EFTSL) for the first year of tertiary study. Student relocating for study - ineligible In Semester 1, 2023, Sam commenced study in a Bachelor of Communications. Sam lodged a claim for the TAP after relocating on 23 December 2023. Sam's first year of study lapsed on 30 November 2023, when Semester 2 concluded. As Sam relocated after completing one academic year of study in their course, Sam is not eligible for the TAP. The relocation was not required for Sam to engage in their first year of tertiary study, because it happened after the end of the study period. Note: if Sam commenced study in Semester 2, 2023, the first year of Sam's course would not have lapsed until the end of Semester 1, 2024. |
|

Ali's first year of study will lapse in June 2024, when Semester 1 concludes. As Ali has relocated before completing one academic year of study in their course, Ali meets the relocation criteria for the TAP. |
