Social Security Act 1991

  • section 953, caring for either 1 or 2 disabled children
  • section 954(1), Qualification for carer allowance-caring for a disabled adult
  • section 954A, caring for a disabled adult in a private home not shared by the adult and carer
  • section 198(3), Qualification for carer payment - care must be provided in a private residence that is the home of the care receiver or care receivers
