Open the AR screen |
If the AR screen shows that a Child Care Benefit for Approved Care (CCF) claim is rejecting for reason No Dependent Children (NDE), type the letter 'C' in the CCF line text box to open the Assessment Explanation (AX) screen.

The AX screen will display the reason why the CCF claim is not giving a percentage for the child being added.
In this example, child GENAI3 is not eligible for CCF because there is no verification of birth.

Take corrective action |
If appropriate, take steps to correct the record (for example, if proof of birth has been received and not coded, navigate to the Change Child (CCH) screen and update proof of birth to Yes).
