Commonwealth Seniors Health Card (CSHC) concessions 101-06010000
This document outlines the concessions and discounts available to a Commonwealth Seniors Health Card (CSHC) holder.
Health related concessions
The CSHC holder may be entitled to:
- discounts on prescription medicines listed under the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
- bulk-billed General Practitioner (GP) appointments at the discretion of the GP
- reduced out-of-hospital medical expenses through the Medicare Safety Net
Concessions from other governments or providers
In some instances, additional health, household, transport, education and recreation concessions may be offered by state or territory and local governments and private providers. However, these providers offer these concessions at their own discretion, and the availability of these concessions may vary from state to state.
Note: the State Seniors Cards is a different card to the CSHC.
