This document outlines the archiving and culling of compensation claims within the Compensation Management System (CMS).

Archived claims

Compensation claims convert to a status of archived:

  • 12 months after the claim has been finalised or
  • 12 months after the end date of the preclusion period of the claim

Compensation claims convert to a status of culled 3 years after the claim has been finalised.

The Claim Summary screen in CMS will show if a claim has been:

  • Finalised
  • Archived or
  • Culled.
