This document outlines the specific codes used when a decision is recorded on a customer's record to assess their claim as not effective, or reject a claim for Dad and Partner Pay (DAP). This procedure contains a list of the codes used for DAP.

Note: DAP is not payable for children born or adopted on or after 1 July 2023. Fathers and partners will need to claim PPL.

DAP codes

In most cases, a Dad and Partner Pay (DAP) claim will be automatically finalised as not effective or rejected based on details coded when processing the claim. A description of the code is used in letters to the customer.
