- Internal Decision Makers (IDM), and
- Contracted Decision Makers (CDM)
Manage COA application
The Decision Makers (DM) role is to determine if it is appropriate to make a change to the assessment by examining:
- the COA application or cross-application
- customer circumstances, and
- supporting documents
Review of COA application
Effective 16 December 2014, COA applications cannot be lodged on cases where the assessment has ended for the child.
On 14 October 2024 the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) was replaced by the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART). Before this date AAT had the jurisdiction to review most child support objection decisions. Reference to previous or pending ART decisions in this procedure includes previous reviews carried out by the AAT.
