International agreements

Child support cases are transmitted under different International Arrangements depending on which country the payer resides. The arrangements are:

Agreement between the Government of Australia and the Government of the United States of America for the Enforcement of Maintenance (Support) Obligations
Hague Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Decisions Relating to Maintenance Obligations 1973
United Nations Convention on the Recovery Abroad of Maintenance (UNCRAM) 1956, and
Non Treaty Reciprocal Arrangements (Commonwealth)
