Transmittal describes the process used by Child Support when requesting overseas jurisdictions to recognise and enforce child and spousal maintenance liabilities.
This document describes the processes for post transmittal action:
- response from Central Authority - case registered
- no response from Central Authority - request update
- monitor for payment
- withdrawal
Note: this document does not include the process to follow when requesting New Zealand to recognise and enforce child and spousal maintenance liabilities.
