This document outlines the process involved for transmittal of Child Support information (excluding NZ) - transmittal referrals and decisions to transmit.

Country of Greece

Service Officers cannot currently refer a case for transmittal to Greece because there is no government body that can process it. This applies although Greece ratified the Hague Convention of 1973.

Transmittal process

Transmittal describes the process used by Child Support when requesting overseas jurisdictions to recognise and enforce child and spousal maintenance liabilities.

This document describes the processes for a transmittal referral:

  • Decision on referral (Central Authority team Service Officer)

Note: this document does not include the process to follow when requesting New Zealand to recognise and enforce child and spousal maintenance liabilities.
