This document outlines the quality checking process using the Quality and Support Tool (QST) for Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) stationery.

Determine the status of the error.

The Print Media Group has not received the order. Cancel the order. See Table 4 in PBS stationery procedures for PSOOS Processing Administrators.

Create a new order. Correct any errors. See PBS stationery for prescribers.

Update the PaNDA work item with the new order number and include the reason for a new order.

Go to Step 5.

Order in Progress + Read more ...

The order has progressed to the Print Media Group. The order may be in production, on the printing press, in the gluing or stapling stage or being prepared for posting.

Cancel the order. See Table 4 in PBS stationery procedures for PSOOS Processing Administrators.

Create a new order. Correct any errors. See PBS stationery for prescribers.

Update the PaNDA work item with the new order number and include the reason for a new order.

Email details to the PBS Stationery and Enquiries team including Prescriber No, Old and New Order No and reason for New Order. The PBS Stationery and Enquiries team will respond if further action is required.

If unable to stop the shipping of the order:

  • Contact the prescriber to advise of the error
  • Inform them a new order has been submitted with the correct details
  • Offer interim books if they need an urgent supply
  • If necessary explain the disposal of stationery process. See PBS stationery for prescribers

Dispatched + Read more ...

The order cannot be cancelled or stopped as it has been printed and assigned a tracking number.

Create a new order. Correct any errors. See PBS stationery for prescribers.

Update the PaNDA work item with the new order number and include the reason.

Email details to the PBS Stationery and Enquiries team including Prescriber No, Old and New Order No and reason for New Order. The PBS Stationery and Enquiries team will respond if further action is required.

Go to Step 5.
