Confirm details and try again.

If customer has a foreign passport not linked to an Australian visa, escalate to operator with 'DVS bypass' access.

IDS.003:

IDS-E-1091, IDS-E-1092, IDS-E-1093

Operator has 'production-advanced' access and customer details do not pass Document Verification System (DVS) check.

Details provided do not match existing passport information. Confirm details with customer.

Confirm details and try again. If customer has a foreign passport not linked to an Australian Visa, confirm details via VEVO report if required and select 'Bypass'.

Error message: Details provided do not match existing passport information. Confirm details with customer. If information is correct, verify another Australian issued document using the Document Verification System, as per OB 011-22031026, and then select 'Bypass'. (%CODE%, Reference: %REFERENCE)

IDS.004:

IDS-E-1090, IDS-E-1300, IDS-E-1301

Customer details do not pass Australian Passport Office (APO) check

Details provided do not match information held by the Australian Passport Office (APO). Confirm customer details and try again.

If customer details are correct, escalate to LPS.

IDS.005:

IDS-E-1100, IDS-E-1101

Customer details are not returned from Customer Directory Maintenance System (CDMS)

Customer AIR record not found in CDMS/Customer has an end date applied/restricted flag.

Escalate to LPS.

IDS.006:

IDS-E-1200, IDS-E-1201

Customer has no COVID-19 vaccines recorded

Customer has no COVID-19 vaccines recorded on the Australian Immunisation Register.

Customer to contact their vaccination provider to update the Australian Immunisation Register.

Error message: The individual has no COVID-19 vaccinations recorded in AIR or an error occurred when retrieving their COVID-19 vaccination details from AIR. Please check their COVID-19 vaccination details in AIR. See OB 011-22031026 for further information about troubleshooting (%CODE%, Reference: %REFERENCE%)

IDS.007

Customer has a COVID-19 vaccine that does not have a country of vaccination recorded

COVID-19 vaccine(s) cannot be recorded on certificate as no 'country of vaccination' recorded.

Customer to contact their vaccination provider to record the country on the Australian Immunisation Register.

IDS.008

VDS certificate feature has been turned off in the reference data

Application is not currently available. Try again later.

IDS.009

The Document Expiry date is in the past

Passport provided has expired. Customer to renew their passport to request an ICVC.

IDS.010

Document ID does not meet passport number standards

Document ID is not valid.

Confirm details and try again.

IDS.011

Date of birth is greater than the current date

Date of birth cannot be a future date

IDS.012

Date of birth is not a valid date. For example 99/99/9999

Date must be a valid date.

IDS.013

Date of birth is more than 130 years

Enter correct date of birth.

IDS.014

Input field contains invalid characters

Invalid character(s).

IDS.015

Only name flag

If customer has only one name, name must be entered into the Family Name field.

If the customer does not have a family name, all given names must be entered into the Family Name field and Given Names field must be left blank.

IDS-E-1092

The document entered is invalid or expired or the customer is offshore.

  • Do not try to validate the same document again
  • Ask the customer if they have another current form of Australian ID
  • If they have a visa but are offshore:
    • they can email a VEVO report
    • escalate to AIR LPS

IDS-E-1093

The customer does not have any COVID vaccinations recorded.

Check the customer record for COVID-19 vaccinations

If vaccinations are recorded, clear the request and try again.

Not verified. Check the coding to make sure there are no typos.

If this cannot be verified, escalate to LPS.

D - Data out of range (document is not able to be electronically verified or is invalid)

The details input are recorded with the issuer but the document cannot be verified.

S - System availability error

System issues. Try again in a few minutes.
