Change of address for Assistance for Isolated Children (AIC) applicants or students 102-03010070
Risks to a customer's privacy have been identified. See Separating safely - protecting personal details to make sure the customer's personal details are safe before progressing.
This document outlines the process when an AIC applicant advises a change or intended change of address for themselves or the AIC student.
Change of details
AIC applicants must notify Services Australia of a change of address within 14 days of moving.
Address changes for the applicant, or student, may mean a change in eligibility for AIC has occurred.
Some address changes may generate a manual follow-up (MFU) on the students record.
Returned mail
If an applicant's mail is returned from an address held on the agency's records, see Return to sender (RTS) mail for Centrelink.
The Resources page contains a link to the AIC Claim (SY040) form.
