Ryan is currently serving a post-cancellation non-payment period
Ryan’s Youth Allowance is cancelled with reason ‘mutual obligation or work refusal penalty (TCP)’ and he is currently in a post-cancellation non-payment period of 4 weeks. Ryan claims Parenting Payment Partnered (PPP) as his partner commenced full-time employment and he now has primary care of their children.
The start date of Ryan’s Parenting Payment is the first day after the end of the post-cancellation non-payment period (subject to other waiting periods that may apply).
Ryan will not have compulsory participation requirements while receiving PPP but must still wait until end of the post-cancellation non-payment period before he can receive PPP. |
