New Zealand Case Management (NZ In Case) - Amended Certificates from Inland Revenue, New Zealand (NZIR) to Child Support 277-08190000
This document outlines the process for amended certificates when Child Support registers liabilities for New Zealand ‘In’ cases at the request of Inland Revenue, New Zealand (NZIR). These are cases where the payer resides in Australia and the payee in New Zealand or the payee has left New Zealand but there are still arrears owing.
Amended certificate
When NZIR updates a customer’s details and the liability changes, they advise Child Support via an ‘amended certificate’ spreadsheet. The amended certificate provides:
- the customer’s details
- details about the children of the relationship
- periods of liabilities
- changed liability amounts
- the type of assessment, and
- the payment schedule dates that are included in the arrears calculation
This document outlines the processes used by officers in the International Central Authority (CA) team to update a NZ ‘In’ case registered with Child Support when an amended certificate is received.
