When to use this claim

The Information you need to know about your claim for Pensioner Education Supplement (PES) form (SY004) is used to claim PES. This form should only be used if the customer cannot, or does not want to claim PES online, or claim PES verbally using Assisted Customer Claim (ACC), as per the digital first standard.

Reclaiming within 52 weeks

If a Pensioner Education Supplement (PES) customer is reclaiming within 52 weeks of last receiving their PES, they can complete the continuation form, Information required for continuation of PES or ABSTUDY (SY075).

PES claims for ABSTUDY customers

Australian Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islanders wishing to claim ABSTUDY Pensioner Education Supplement (PES) need to complete the Claim for ABSTUDY Pensioner Education Supplement (SY020) form. How to lodge this claim

Claims and forms may be lodged via the customer's online account or using the Express Plus mobile app, in person at the nearest service centre, or posted using the appropriate reply paid envelope.
