This document outlines how Compensation Batch Laser Advices (BLA) are created, viewed, managed and printed.

Compensation recovery decisions

When updates are recorded in the Compensation Management System (CMS), a corresponding BLA is created and issued.

The BLA is sent to customers and/or third parties:

  • for every action that involves a reviewable decision, and
  • to advise of a compensation recovery decision

Viewing BLA and associated activities

BLA and associated activities can be viewed from the HS screen up to 62 days after printing. They then move into the archive system for storage.
